Identity!!

I was born in 1987. On 6th dec. 1992 I was 5 years old. My parents told me that I am Hindu, I am trying to make my opinion on it.

When I was kid I was told stories from Ramayana and I was told that Ram, The highest Hindu deity was born in Ayodhya.
When I grew up and started understanding world around me, I learned that there existed a Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The masjid was built in 16th century and it is alleged that it was built destroying the then existing very temple of Ram which was built to commemorate the LORD. Mind well all this happened in 16th century, you me our forefather and surely Contemporary leaders and politics didn’t even exist in sperms at that time.
I said there existed a Masjid !! I learned that the structure which was there from last 400 years and which became a holy place for Muslims and gained the ranks of one the most sacred Masjids in India was destroyed by a huge mob of Hindus .
These Hindus were passionately motivated for the reconstruction of Mandir at the same site where Masjid existed. And these Hindus are self proclaimed true pieties of religion and there leaders the LORDS and organizations the LAW.
Demolition of Masjid led to communal rites in country, disturbing communal harmony first time after partition. Led to killing of over 2000 Muslims and Hindus. These Hindu LORDS doubted the existence of every Muslim in the country demanded the parliament to become non-secular. And above all LORDS made it political, election issue.
The Organizations, The LAW, provoked people of this country against religions other than Hindu. It motivated mobs to commit genocide and smartly used naïve citizens to gain the political advantage.
I studied History, I learned Vishva Hindu Parishad , RSS and all their political faces are the organizations dutifully committed for betterment of Hindus and these very organizations were the LAW on 6th Dec. 1992. The former Home minister and half of his cabinet were THE LORDS.
Today at 22, I have a opinion:

1) If doing what happened on 6th Dec 1992 is Hinduism , I am ashamed that I was born in Hindu family.

2) If RSS , VHP and their political outfits represent values of Hindu religion , I am ashamed that I am Hindu.

3) I thought Hinduism is about living in amity with people from all races and religion, I doubt if I am right.
If you think you have a character , give it a thought.

A letter to Editor Nagpur Times.

Respected Sir/madam

Being a regular reader of TOI, I appreciate your efforts during General Elections 2009 and now Assembly Polls 2009 to provide youngsters of the town a chance to interact with the poll candidates.
I, myself was a part of team which interviewed a MP from Nagpur, thanks to TOI, obviously.

Few junctures where I think you missed the homework or maybe we overestimated the brand TOI.

1) All so called youth-interactions with NETAJI are published in Nagpur-Times, which makes this interactions look inconsequential and non-sincere endeavor (as it is published along with other stories generally not more-worthy than dog droppings). Since all the versed and socially aware readers of TOI try n save their time by avoiding NT, sometimes even serious news in NT catches dust by default. I strongly feel this interactions with NETAJIS deserve better place in TOI.

2) If the purpose is to actually make people aware of their candidates, in the interactions, as I was part of a few I would like if TOI could widen its scopes to look for politically, socially or at least mentally aware youngsters to be part of these interactions than just looking for “talent-lessly good-looking and yet smug “ people who need two briefing sessions and questions ready-made by TOI before they meet the NETA. C’mon youth is not just about being a sycophant to earn a photo in NT. By inviting these talentless people to your office you are actually helping NETAJI and not at all the one you say you intend to “THE JANTA”.
And if you could do this the “YOUTH” won’t feel ignominious at least. Even you know that Nagpur is no dearth kind of ABLE YOUTH I am talking about.

3) I am not a male chauvinist. No, not at all. I just feel there should be other more important attributes required in a girl to be part of the TOI Youth Gang than sheer “good-sometimes even average looks” and good clothing sense. I think the brain deserves brighter limelight here.

4) You define NT as lifestyle supplement to TOI. With my average common sense I think that YOUTH is not just about NT type “life-style”. If, what you publish in NT is what you understand as youth-cult, either you horribly missed homework or may be u need to revise.

5) I understand that NT helps u sell in market. If TOI is product looking for higher market share, you are doing exact job by supplementing it with NT, but just that not every news is to sell, some are about serious journalism too.

I am not a critic, i have a reason .

I know you agree with me but may be market forces you to do what you are doing, not your fault then.

Its not that I Dislike TOI. It needs to be appreciated for many better jobs. I would do that next time I find time.

Nothing personal. :)
Period.

Just Got Up .. Good Morning !

While enjoying the first rains Mon-soon which came no-soon this year, I noticed that our media – which arguably is instrumental in educating the youth is busy in determining how inefficient is the” Public Works Department” of various states is incapable of providing us basic infrastructure especially during monsoon?

As always in spur of a moment I criticized government, abused some of leaders, felt helpless, praised foreign countries ….then I thought .. “What if I be the change?”

Why I should be blaming system when am only promoting it? Why I should cry against corruption when I’ve negotiated very smartly with traffic police quite regularly? Why I should say its inefficient when I never stood in queue? Why should I criticize terrorism when I cry for MANDIR or MASJIDD?

Yes many of us haven’t murdered or raped any innocent soul, but we are no saints. We are totally instrumental in promoting the corruption, polluting the environment, killing animals, being non-secular, promoting racism and nepotism and in a way we are hopeless and shameless social criminals may be more worse than terrorists because we are the majority we are everywhere and its worst when we flaunt and take pride in it .

We take pride in buying movie tickets in BLACK? We flaunt taking admissions to academic institutes through donations? We are happy about avoiding the queue and misusing “BAAP KA NAAM” to get it done under table? We are not ashamed when we liter on road we don’t care if our vehicle doesn’t have PUC certificate!! Have you ever cared to avoid usage of plastic? Have u ever cared to save fuel? Have ever planted a tree??? Have you ever felt guilty when u used reservations even if u don’t deserve it??

Being “A Stupid Common Man” I agree I don’t have balls to do a ”WEDNESDAY”, but I know we can do it ”EVERYDAY”. I’ve minimized my usage of plastic carry bags, I carry my own old-cloth bag-a jhola even if m buying a Nike shoes! I don’t give bribe to traffic-policemen anymore, I stand in queue and make sure that nobody breaks it when I am present, I don’t liter on road and enjoy complete use of public dustbins. And yeah I don’t use reservation to see myself through the merit.

Now I boast that I represent the true YOUTH:CULT ,I will flaunt it and I am proud, I am doing it by choice before it’s forced on me.
I don’t expect you to agree with me or follow me rather you should lead it in your own way!!

Next time you visit London don’t come back and flaunt how clean and beautiful it is, it’s better if u feel ashamed about how socially illiterate you are than people there.

“INDIA HAI – YAHAN SAB CHALTA HAI….I think not ….if you, me and youth cares.

P.S.: If YOU LIKE IT, TELL OTHERS
IF NOT, I am not sorry for you.. take care.

first step.

All these years of my life I’ve enjoyed doing something at which everybody of us is “a self confessed and a self proclaimed master” at i.e. “criticizing and blaming things around”, taking pride in debating on “inefficiency of so called SYSTEM”.

I am no saint. I am equally selfish as many of us, but Probably .. ohh ..no ..confidently a “less anti-social” than many of you around and just had a thought of becoming a responsible citizen rather than becoming a “cool talentless dude to hang out with”. Some of u may try to throw me in “over-aged-boring-not..so..cool” category ,its ok, I don’t care as I know it doesn’t matter . I don’t care if it doesn’t impress you.

This is Amit. Enjoying my free-jobless time. I appreciate whatever I am so far . I’ve got enough of everything that needs to be a happy soul at this age. So I don’t seek anything from you.

I’ll not be writing about, how many times I went to loo last night? Or what my drunk friend did? Neither I’ll talk about recent movie, u’ll not get any thing to laugh on here, as I am not here to entertain you. I’ve no notion of wasting this free blog pages, writing bout shit stuff that doesn’t really matters to any of us .

This monsoon, I am here to shower some “GYAAN” on self proclaimed educated people of this extra large country and I belong to the same.

P.S. now on-words if you like it, tell others

If not , tell me .
